What the funding should be used for?

Funding should mainly support things that:

Improve public spaces – fixing pavements, lighting, seating, play areas, green spaces.

Make the area feel safer and cleaner – tackling fly‑tipping, graffiti, poor lighting, unsafe spots.

Support community activities – events, youth projects, clubs, and spaces where people can meet.

Give residents a voice – meetings, surveys, workshops and support for local groups to get involved.

Create long‑term benefits – projects that will still help the community in 5–10 years, not just quick fixes.
