Applications now open to Join the Board

Local Ribbleton residents and people working in the area are invited to express their interest in joining the Board.

The Board once constituted will be responsible for setting the vision for a Neighbourhood Plan and deciding where £20m of government funds will be spent.

The aim of Ribbleton Pride in Place is simple but powerful: to bring local people together to decide what matters most, and to turn those ideas into real change over the next decade. To this end, only people who live, work or have strong local links will be eligible to apply to join the Board.

We welcome interest from people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences. This includes people who may not usually put themselves forward for roles like this, such as people with disabilities, caring responsibilities and young people.

Previous experience of being on a Board is not necessary and successful applicants will be supported to participate fully.

Find out more about the process and submit your expression of interest on a quick and easy online form.

If you already have board experience or are a local community leader or business professional, then you are invited to read the roles and responsibilities and apply with your CV and personal statement, as set out in the application process.
