Chair meets Community Stakeholders

Chair of Ribbleton Pride in Place Board, Cheryl Taylor met with local community stakeholders at an informal engagement event on 25th June 2026.

Cheryl delivered a presentation about the Pride in Place project and the developments to date. These include a preliminary Board made up of the Chair, Sir Mark Hendrick MP and Ribbleton Councillor, Cllr Pat Varty. She also informed attendees about the ongoing recruitment process to seek local Board members; a letter to all Ribbleton households to inform them about 'Pride in Place', and a recently launched online resident's survey.

The event was attended by local stakeholders from a diverse range of sectors, including the charity sector, faith, local community groups and local business professionals.
